Part 3 of 3 | Start 2025 Strong with Intentional Goal Setting for your Sourdough Microbakery | Episode 52

Setting clear, actionable goals is the bridge between dreaming big and building a thriving microbakery. In this blog post, I’m sharing 18 powerful questions from the third episode of The Bread Winner Podcast’s 2025 planning series. These questions are designed to help you take your vision for 2025 and break it down into achievable steps, so you can make real progress this year.

1. Clarifying Priorities

  1. Looking at your vision, what’s the single most important thing you want to achieve in 2025? Why does this matter to you?

  2. What are two smaller priorities that will support your bigger goal? For example, if your main focus is growing revenue, smaller priorities might include increasing average order value or expanding your customer base.

  3. If everything went right this year, what’s one thing you’d want to feel proud of by December 2025?

2. Making Goals SMART

  1. For each priority, write a SMART goal. What specific steps will you take, and how will you measure progress? For example: “Gain 15 new customers by June by offering samples at local farmers markets.”

  2. What’s one stretch goal that pushes you outside your comfort zone but feels achievable with the right focus?

3. Breaking Goals Into Steps

  1. For your biggest goal, what’s the very first step you need to take? How soon can you take it?

  2. What weekly or monthly checkpoints can you set to track progress and stay motivated?

  3. What systems—like planning tools, customer feedback, or accountability partners—will help you follow through?

4. Creating Momentum

  1. What small win can you focus on in January to build momentum for the year? This might be launching a new product or improving your workflow.

  2. What habits or routines could you establish in the first 90 days to support your goals? Think about morning prep, marketing, or self-care.

  3. What’s one thing you can automate, delegate, or simplify to free up time for higher-value work?

5. Staying Resilient

  1. What obstacles do you anticipate this year? How can you plan ahead to navigate them?

  2. What will you do to celebrate progress—big and small—along the way?

  3. How will you stay connected to your vision and goals when life gets busy or overwhelming?

6. Measuring Success

  1. If you reviewed your goals monthly, what questions would you ask yourself to stay on track?

  2. How will you know if a goal is no longer serving you and needs to be adjusted?

  3. What does success feel like to you—not just financially, but emotionally and personally?

7. Looking Ahead

  1. Picture yourself at the end of 2025, having accomplished these goals. How do you feel, and what’s different about your life and business?
